Overview
This role is with a prestigious Irish insurance company based in Dublin that offers hybrid working (two days on-site). You will be responsible for overseeing motor claims from initiation through to resolution, engaging directly with customers, brokers, and service providers. Key Responsibilities
- Manage motor insurance claims end-to-end: gather necessary information, assess liability, and settle claims within your authorization limits.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients, brokers, and service vendors, explaining processes and updates in a clear, supportive manner.
- Make well-informed claims decisions, identify potential fraud, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with loss assessors, legal representatives, and other involved parties when required.
- Collaborate with team members, supporting workflow and fostering a positive working atmosphere.
- Participate in team training, contribute to projects, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience either directly in claims handling or within the insurance industry as a broker or insurer.
- Possession of APA (Personal and Commercial) accreditation is mandatory.
- Strong communication capabilities combined with excellent organizational skills.
- Proactive problem solver with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work well in teams and demonstrate a cooperative approach.
