Microsoft Business Development Manager

Role Overview

In the position of Microsoft Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities and matching appropriate Microsoft programs such as FastTrack, Funding, and Go-to-Market initiatives to meet customer needs. Your responsibilities include transforming these funding opportunities into concrete projects, working collaboratively with sales, consulting, and Microsoft teams to foster sustainable growth for both Skaylink and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to identify customers eligible for Microsoft FastTrack Services and other funding programs.
• Assess the potential of Microsoft FastTrack, Funding Programs and Go-to-Market initiatives to successfully include them in client projects.
• Oversee the application process, management, and tracking of Microsoft funding, coordinating closely with Microsoft and internal teams.
• Collaborate with sales and consulting to develop new business opportunities, leveraging Microsoft programs to attract new clients and expand existing relationships.
• Constantly monitor new Microsoft programs, incentives, and funding opportunities to ensure their swift and successful implementation within Skaylink.
• Continuously enhance processes and best practices related to FastTrack and Microsoft funding, contributing to sustainable growth of Microsoft business.

Candidate Requirements

• Several years of experience within the Microsoft ecosystem, with proven success working with FastTrack, funding programs, or similar Microsoft initiatives.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft programs, incentives, and Go-to-Market initiatives as strategic tools for driving long-term business growth.
• Ability to detect market opportunities early and develop new business prospects in cooperation with sales, consulting, and Microsoft.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills, enabling effective engagement at all organizational levels and building trust with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.
