MES Senior Specialist

Job Overview

This role focuses on managing and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Integrated Quality Inspection System (IQIS) that underpin automotive production. The candidate will maintain system stability and optimize performance across manufacturing sites.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee MES and IQIS systems ensuring continuous operation and resolving any technical issues promptly.
• Conduct ongoing surveillance of MES terminals, production data flows, web and server performance, and network infrastructure, innovating monitoring approaches as needed.
• Perform routine system checks, report defects, and collaboratively resolve complex faults with external partners when necessary.
• Support, monitor, and enhance MES process workflows by analyzing technical problems and delivering effective solutions.
• Configure MES systems including user access management, training sessions, and equipment setup within the MES ecosystem.
• Lead specific MES projects by conceptualizing improvements, planning implementations, and refining operational procedures based on analyses.
• Deliver functional support during MES software rollouts.
• Collaborate closely with Hyundai departments, IT vendors, and consulting teams to optimize system efficacy.
• Engage with MES/IQIS key users, developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders for comprehensive system management.
• Handle procurement of necessary hardware, software, and services for project completion and provide training to IT staff and users.
• Compile and submit routine reports and data insights to company executives.
• Perform assigned administrative, security, and monitoring functions relating to system domains supporting vehicle construction.

Experience Requirements

• At least four years practicing in enterprise system management roles involving ERP, MES, WMS, or comparable applications.
• Proficient in analyzing business needs and managing vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET (C#), CSS/HTML, .NET Framework (C#), .NET MAUI (C#), EPAS (PostgreSQL), or Tibero.
• Advanced competency in diagnosing hardware and software issues.
• Experienced in system administration tasks.
• Strong analytical mindset with eagerness for continuous learning.
