Mechanical Engineer - Operation Support Executive

Position Overview

The role involves supporting operations at the Tata Power Tankage Division located in Trombay, Mumbai. This full-time position requires active involvement in tank farm operations and logistics coordination within the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors.

Location and Availability

Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, candidates must be prepared to work a rotational shift schedule covering mornings, evenings, and nights. The workweek is Monday through Saturday with the possibility of working Sundays and holidays as operational demands require. Overtime may be expected.

Qualifications and Experience

• A diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Alternatively, candidates with a diploma in any engineering discipline from a recognized institute may also be considered.
• Minimum of two years' experience in industrial operations related to tank farms, oil and gas, petrochemicals, terminal operations, logistics, or manufacturing is essential.
• Preferred age range between 22 and 35 years.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee daily loading and unloading of tankers.
• Coordinate the safe unloading of barges and vessels.
• Ensure all cargo transfers are conducted according to approved standard operating procedures.
• Monitor the receipt and dispatch of products to maintain accurate records.
• Act as the liaison among Jetty, Tank Farm, and Transporters.
• Maintain records of tank gauging and stock movement for operational accuracy.
