Role Overview

Join the Pune-based manufacturing team as a Mechanical Engineer where you will provide direct engineering support for wind turbine production and assembly. Your role will involve diagnosing mechanical challenges, ensuring manufacturing accuracy, and fostering collaboration among production, quality, and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on mechanical engineering assistance across manufacturing and assembly activities of wind turbines at the Pune location.
• Investigate mechanical component and process issues to identify root causes and propose corrective measures effectively.
• Audit manufacturing and assembly workflows to verify adherence to engineering designs and process standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality departments to enhance product manufacturability, quality assurance, and operational reliability.
• Clearly communicate technical assessments, recommended actions, and resolution updates to internal staff, international technical teams, suppliers, and customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in manufacturing or mechanical engineering roles.
• Demonstrated strong practical problem-solving abilities with systematic analysis of mechanical and production issues.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken, to engage with multidisciplinary and client groups.
