Role Overview
The Marketing Specialist position is a multifaceted role requiring adaptability and hands-on involvement across product marketing content creation, website management, and paid marketing channels. The ideal candidate should be comfortable crafting compelling product messaging and web content, managing WordPress publishing, and optimizing paid search and social advertising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert product features into persuasive messaging targeted at millwork and cabinetry business leaders.
- Create diverse marketing materials including landing pages, emails, case studies, one-pagers, ad copy, and assets for campaigns.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to maintain sharp and consistent positioning throughout the buyer journey.
- Construct, edit, and publish pages on WordPress, ensuring engaging layout, conversion optimization, and on-brand presentation.
- Continually update and improve website content and performance through maintenance, issue resolution, A/B testing, and optimization.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and refine paid search (Google Ads) and social media (LinkedIn, Meta, etc.) campaigns, managing budgets, bidding strategies, audiences, and creative development.
- Analyze campaign performance data and recommend actionable improvements.
- Support demand generation efforts via emails, webinars, events, content syndication, and lead nurturing.
- Contribute to the design and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, tracking funnel metrics to foster a test-and-learn environment.
Candidate Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with high-quality delivery.
- Strong organizational skills, efficiency, and deadline orientation.
- Experience in marketing within manufacturing, construction, building products, or other vertical industries.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce.
- Competence with analytics platforms including GA4, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio, as well as native reporting within advertising platforms.
- Basic proficiency in design and creative tools like Canva, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience supporting webinars, events, or field marketing initiatives.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of work time, including potential weekend travel for industry events. Valid US passport required.
- Physical capability to work prolonged hours seated, view screens for extended periods, and lift 45 pounds or less.
