Position Overview

The Marketing & Events Coordinator is pivotal in enhancing the visibility and effectiveness of Joyful Films by managing marketing campaigns and organizing nationwide screening events. This mission-centered role demands exceptional organizational skills, self-motivation, and a passion for using media to serve the Church.

Primary Responsibilities

• Organize and support film screening events across the United States, collaborating with theaters, parishes, and partner groups.
• Manage ticketing and RSVP systems efficiently.
• Develop and implement event promotion schedules from announcement through post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate event logistics, volunteers, and communications.
• Monitor event outcomes and contribute to enhancing future campaigns.
• Execute promotional campaigns aligned with film releases and associated events.
• Maintain strict adherence to campaign schedules and deadlines.
• Manage and organize marketing assets across multiple projects.
• Support outreach expansion through strategic partnerships and community engagement.
• Create, schedule, and manage email campaigns via Mailchimp, maintaining segmented audience lists.
• Craft engaging promotional and storytelling emails and analyze campaign effectiveness.
• Plan, schedule, and publish consistent social media content in line with campaign timelines.
• Monitor social media engagement and support audience interaction.
• Distribute content using existing film assets effectively.
• Provide weekly updates on campaign and event statuses, proactively identifying challenges.
• Support additional marketing and outreach initiatives as required.

Typical Workload & Deliverables

• Continuous coordination and promotion of multiple screening events all year.
• Reliable execution of marketing campaigns for film launches.
• Deliver 1-2 email campaigns per week during active campaign times.
• Generate 4-6 social media posts weekly.
• Submit weekly reports summarizing progress, performance, and upcoming tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
• Self-directed with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and oral communication proficiency.
• Experience with social media platforms and email marketing tools.
• Comfortable operating within a remote working environment.
• Dedicated passion for Catholic mission and evangelization efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in event coordination or campaign management.
• Background in ministry, nonprofit, or media sectors.
• Familiarity with tools like Mailchimp and Eventbrite.
• Basic knowledge of marketing analytics.
