Position Overview
McLane Polska is searching for a skilled Marketing & Creative Content Coordinator to enhance brand presence and increase engagement for the Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands Council. This role focuses on producing eye-catching visual and written content across digital, print, and social channels that highlight the impactful experiences and values of the Girl Scouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote the Girl Scouts brand through compelling storytelling, digital content, photography, videography, and community outreach.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, building relationships with vendors, contacts, and local community members.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
- Manage social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, including content creation, scheduling, community interaction, monitoring, and data analysis.
- Create and edit photography, short video reels, and storytelling videos for events, programs, and campaigns.
- Design digital and print marketing collateral, including flyers, brochures, presentations, annual reports, signage, newsletters, and program materials.
- Support and optimize digital advertising campaigns including paid social media and Google Ads, and track performance metrics.
- Maintain and update website content including program listings, imagery, forms, and homepage features.
- Assist with council-wide initiatives such as program promotion, membership recruitment, fundraising, and public relations efforts.
Technical Skills
- Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite for digital and print design tasks.
- Experience in photography and videography including shooting, lighting, editing, and asset management.
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Meta Business Suite.
- Ability to produce short-form video content optimized for social media reels.
- Understanding of digital advertising strategies and ability to analyze and refine campaign performance.
- Experience with website content management systems; knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
- Strong skills in maintaining brand consistency through visual identity and messaging.
Work Environment and Schedule
The position is based in either the Greenville or Columbia office, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after a 90-day onboarding period. The role requires occasional evening, weekend, and travel commitments to capture events and council activities in real time.

Qualifications
- Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Multimedia Production, or related field; bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent education and experience combinations considered.
- One to three years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, or content creation. Relevant nonprofit, volunteer, internship, or educational experience also valued.
- Experience in non-profit or youth services environment is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.
- Demonstrated content creation skills for social media including graphics, photography, and video.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere).
- Competent with website CMS and email marketing tools.
- Experience managing paid and organic social media campaigns, analyzing data, and reporting insights.
- Excellent multitasking abilities with strong time management to meet deadlines accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with staff, volunteers, and community partners.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn new systems.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is advantageous.
- Active Girl Scout membership required or willing to obtain upon hire, adhering to Girl Scout values.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid South Carolina driver's license, and required personal auto insurance. Background check required.
