About the Role

Join Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Port Douglas as a Marketing Coordinator, a position pivotal in organizing marketing campaigns and communication channels. This role involves close collaboration with the Marketing Manager to oversee social media campaigns, promotional events, and the creation of materials for both internal and external communications. The role is stationed at Sheraton's location in Port Douglas and is a full-time, onsite position.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support marketing activations and communication efforts across multiple channels.
• Assist in developing and managing campaigns for social media and promotional events.
• Establish and nurture relationships with media contacts, social media influencers, and customers to enhance brand presence.
• Compile detailed monthly reports on marketing performance utilizing analysis tools.
• Drive customer loyalty by engaging guests throughout their experience, aligned with the hotel's service and relationship strategies.
• Collaborate with various hotel departments to ensure top-quality service delivery for guests.
• Perform general marketing administrative tasks and provide support to the marketing team.
• Manage marketing purchase requests pertaining to the Marketing and Sales departments.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a comparable marketing coordination role.
• Able to legally work in Australia.
• Motivated to advance their marketing career.
