Position Overview

The Marketing Analyst plays a pivotal role in fostering retail expansion and optimizing in-store outcomes across all retail partnerships. This role emphasizes tracking and boosting Units Per Store Per Week (UPSPW), analyzing sales trends, measuring promotional impact, and identifying business opportunities and risks proactively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and examine retail sales data focusing on enhancing Units Per Store Per Week (UPSPW) for all retail accounts
  • Spot sales declines, underperforming products, distribution issues, inventory challenges, and promotional inefficiencies early
  • Investigate and communicate potential business concerns and opportunities before they escalate
  • Derive actionable insights from retail data to elevate sales speed, distribution breadth, promotional success, and overall account health
  • Monitor KPIs including UPSPW, ACV distribution, sales velocity, ROAS, CTR, conversion rates, retail media results, and ecommerce patterns
  • Create dashboards and recurring reports utilizing Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Evaluate marketing initiatives across Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, Walmart Connect, and Target Roundel platforms
  • Assess the outcomes of promotions, scan-down events, digital marketing campaigns, influencer activities, and retail media support
  • Contribute to retail line and category reviews, retailer presentations, and sales forecasting efforts
  • Observe competitor activities, pricing trends, assortment changes, new product launches, and category dynamics
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and external brokers to support strategic growth plans
  • Analyze ecommerce performance across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart.com, and Target.com
  • Identify untapped opportunities and potential growth areas in retail
  • Enhance automation in reporting, improve data accuracy, and increase internal transparency regarding retail metrics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, sales analytics, trade marketing, ecommerce analytics, or consumer packaged goods analytics is preferred
  • Solid analytical skills with the capability to interpret extensive datasets and convert them into practical strategies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Shopify analytics, Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, SPINS, Nielsen, Circana/IRI, or retail media platforms is advantageous
  • Exceptional attention to detail to detect trends, irregularities, and business risks promptly
  • Self-driven, inquisitive, and effective problem-solver
  • Strong communication and organizational competencies
  • Experience in the CPG, food & beverage, retail, or ecommerce sectors is beneficial

Compensation & Work Schedule

  • Salary range between 65000 and 85000 USD annually, supplemented with an annual bonus
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
