Job Overview
The Market Analyst plays a crucial role within Bridge Holding's Investor Relations division, providing expert investment insights through comprehensive market research, benchmarking studies, and monitoring of macroeconomic and regional trends that influence investor perspectives. This function delivers data-driven intelligence supporting investor targeting, pitch preparation, and informed strategic decision-making related to private equity markets and LP behavior in emerging regions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist Business Development Directors in sourcing investment opportunities by conducting detailed market research, managing deal flow, and screening prospects against firm investment criteria.
- Perform initial due diligence including financial analyses, valuations, and preparation of investment memos and presentation materials to aid investment committee reviews.
- Support investor relations activities by preparing communications, pitch decks, and coordinating events aimed at institutional investors, family offices, and co-investors.
- Maintain and update CRM systems to track investor interactions, pipeline status, and prepare investor update materials.
- Conduct market and competitive intelligence research focusing on emerging and Latin American markets to guide strategic planning and deal identification.
- Monitor investor mandates, preferences, and competitor activity to refine Bridge Holding's positioning and market approach.
- Assist in transaction management tasks including deal tracking, timeline adherence, document coordination, and support deal closure efforts.
- Coordinate with Sector Practice Leads ensuring thorough opportunity evaluation and sector-specific due diligence.
- Prepare regular pipeline status reports and ensure documentation accuracy for active investment opportunities.
- Provide administrative support for investor meetings, conferences, forums and maintain organized deal documentation repositories.
- Facilitate communication and support for LP origination activities, co-investment opportunity assessment, placement agent coordination, and intermediary relationship management.
- Contribute to development of fund strategy and marketing materials, supporting new market entries, fund launches, and expansion initiatives.
Educational Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or similar discipline from an accredited institution.
- Preferred candidates include recent graduates with superior academic performance or those pursuing advanced degrees such as an MBA or Master’s in Finance or Business.
- Experience or exposure through internships or early career roles in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or corporate development is highly advantageous.
