The Manager will oversee national, provincial, and private market access strategies to ensure timely reimbursement for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in preparing submissions to Canadian health technology assessment bodies including Canada’s Drug Agency (CDA-AMC), Institut National d'Excellence en Santé et Services Sociaux (INESSS), provincial agencies, and private payers.
  • Manage the complete submission process: create detailed workplans, coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams, maintain communications with HTA organizations, and oversee pull-through activities.
  • Ensure strategic alignment and timely completion of projects by coordinating internal workstreams.
  • Conduct research to support submission strategy and dossier development.
  • Develop clinical summaries, budget impact analyses, and other essential components for HTA filings.
  • Prepare presentation materials and participate in meetings with regulatory and payer organizations, including advisory boards.
  • Interview key opinion leaders to gain insights on treatment standards and inform reimbursement strategies.
  • Facilitate advisory boards with former payers and, occasionally, clinicians.
  • Monitor and analyze the evolving reimbursement landscape in Canada and update strategies accordingly.
  • Contribute to EVERSANA’s research initiatives related to pharmaceutical policy in Canada.
  • Demonstrate ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by modeling inclusive behavior and managing bias.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Conditions

  • Possible travel for meetings with clients and stakeholders.
  • Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week; occasional overtime or weekend/evening work may be necessary.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Economics or related discipline.
  • At least three years of experience in health economics, health technology assessment, or related fields.
  • Strong foundation in cost-effectiveness model design, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Experience managing HTA submissions.
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Effective personal and team time management skills.
  • Adaptability to diverse communication and working styles.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and motivation skills.
  • Strong decision-making and strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent relationship management and client engagement skills.
  • Proficient written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Preferred: experience with VBA programming for model development.

Organizational Culture

  • Patient-centered approach prioritizing patients' interests.
  • Commitment to client satisfaction and accountability.
  • Encouragement of proactive action and ownership.
  • Promotion of awareness, respect, and diversity.
  • Focus on personal and team development.
  • Collaborative spirit to achieve shared success.
