Job Summary
The Manager in Financial Business Support will support the Senior Vice President of FBS by preparing management information system (MIS) reports including Asset and Liability Committee (ALCO) reports promptly. These reports aid management in tracking business performance, reaching targets, and making informed decisions. The role involves providing regular updates on progress, highlighting deviations, and conducting preliminary analyses of any discrepancies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accountancy, or related fields.
- Professional certifications like CPA, CA, CMA, or CFA are advantageous.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a major banking institution within financial business support functions.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency preferred.
- Understanding of financial reporting standards including IFRS and IAS.
- Expertise in MIS tools and valuation/pricing methodologies.
- Advanced analytical abilities combined with interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
- Adept at fostering organizational relationships to achieve results.
- Knowledge of accounting principles relevant to various banking products.
