Maintenance Associate

Job Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Associate in Caledon, Ontario to provide support in general maintenance, installation tasks, and facility setup within both warehouse and office settings. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a pay rate of $24.00 per hour. Immediate start is expected.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble and install shelving units, storage racks, office furniture, and various fixtures.
• Affix signage to walls, doors, shelves, ceilings, and warehouse floors.
• Install wall-mounted devices such as TV monitors, whiteboards, and other equipment.
• Support warehouse and office setups including workstation moves and layout changes.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairing tasks on warehouse machinery and building infrastructure.
• Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and replace hardware as needed.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scissor lifts safely.
• Execute routine inspections while ensuring the workspace is orderly, clean, and safe.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably have prior experience as a handyman, in facilities or warehouse maintenance roles.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools is mandatory.
• Skills in installing shelving, signage, and mounted equipment are advantageous.
• Experience and certification in operating scissor lifts is considered a plus.
• Physical capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs and work at elevated heights.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and autonomy in task completion.
