About the Role
Raise is recruiting on behalf of a major Canadian airline seeking a Mail Clerk to join their team at Calgary Airport. This position offers a one-year contract opportunity to handle corporate mail and packages efficiently, adhering to strict security and confidentiality standards while delivering excellent service to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, sorting, and distribution of incoming mail and packages to designated departments and staff.
- Prepare and arrange outgoing corporate mail and courier shipments, including associated documentation; occasionally track shipments using carrier websites.
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and well-organized mailroom and storage facilities.
- Ensure compliance with corporate security protocols and proper handling procedures for all mail items.
- Provide responsive and courteous support to employees regarding mail and package questions and concerns.
- Guarantee prompt and proper delivery and dispatch of mail and packages in line with company guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift weights up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Experience working in a bustling shipping floor or similar logistics environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping protocols is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with major courier services and exposure to the aviation industry considered a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal oversight and collaboratively within a dynamic team setting.
- Educational attainment equivalent to a High School Diploma or above.

- This role primarily falls under T4 employment classification, but candidates interested in INC classification may also apply where suitable.
