Machine Learning Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team based in Coimbatore. The role involves developing and implementing machine learning models for diverse applications, designing end-to-end ML pipelines, optimizing model performance, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. The candidate will stay current with industry advancements and explore innovative ML techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms and models tailored to various use cases.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
• Design and construct ML pipelines covering data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Enhance machine learning model efficiency and scalability through optimization.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to comprehend business objectives and convert them into technical deliverables.
• Continuously update skills with emerging machine learning and deep learning trends.
• Experiment with novel ML technologies and frameworks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming along with hands-on experience in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
• Expertise in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and appropriate model selection.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including regression, classification, and clustering methods.
• Skilled in statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Experience with deep learning architectures including CNN, RNN, and LSTM.
• Understanding of ML Operations (MLOps) and deployment best practices.
• Educational background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Between three and six years of practical experience in machine learning engineering roles.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Experience with MLOps tools including MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to projects in natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision.
• Proficiency in creating CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployments.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience dealing with US clients or working in client-facing delivery setups.
