Role Overview
The Assistant Manager for Logistics Optimization will focus on improving delivery speed, strengthening on-time performance, refining dispatch logic, and elevating the customer and rider experience. The role also supports city rollouts, shift-model operations, rider demand planning, and cross-functional process improvements.
Key Accountability Areas
Logistics Optimization
- Shorten delivery cycle time from dispatch through final drop-off across more than seven stages and time-based KPIs.
- Improve on-time delivery rates by upgrading system estimates, increasing accuracy, and reducing unusual deviations.
- Fine-tune the dispatch algorithm so orders are assigned and delivered as quickly as possible while lowering early cancellations.
- Review the customer delivery journey and improve the factors that influence NPS.
- Improve stacked-order handling so savings are achieved without harming the customer experience.
- Reduce CPO intelligently while optimizing stacked-order economics.
- Assess, prepare, and launch cities from an on-demand operating model to a shift-based model.
- Improve shift-city forecasting, rider demand planning, zoning, and slot availability.
- Systematically enhance all shift-city configurations so riders can operate smoothly.
- Support new initiatives, including onboarding college students as freelance riders under the HS fleet.
- Raise rider day-to-day performance by improving Issue Service and Rooster Compliance tools.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks beyond the listed responsibilities as directed by management.
Governance and Resilience
- Work in line with all applicable policies, procedures, and operating processes to ensure consistent and controlled execution.
- Contribute ideas that improve processes, working methods, cost efficiency, and productivity.
- Help drive policy and procedure adherence across the organization.
Daily Operations
- Carry out daily operational activities to maintain work continuity.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports related to the function.
- Support both internal and external customers promptly and courteously to ensure satisfaction.
People Management
- Support the identification and hiring of important talent within the department.
- Guide and assist direct reports in carrying out their work according to established policies and procedures.
- Set goals, provide support, assess performance, and share regular feedback with the team.
- Maintain a high-performance culture that reflects the organization’s values.
Qualifications
Applicants should bring 3 to 4 years of relevant experience, along with practical knowledge of supply chain and finance. Strong Excel and analytical abilities are essential, as well as sound decision-making and excellent communication skills.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required. A master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and follows a full-time, onsite working arrangement.
