Role Overview

We invite you to join us as a Lifeguard at Places Leisure, where you'll enjoy a vibrant setting alongside like-minded colleagues. This role focuses on inspiring teamwork and fostering excellent performance.

While holding a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is advantageous, candidates who are safety-aware, strong swimmers, and eager to learn will receive full support to earn this certification through continuous development programs.

Starting as a Lifeguard opens pathways to various careers within Places Leisure, including Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, and Customer Service. We provide continual training, competency assessments, first aid certifications, swimming teaching credentials, and apprenticeship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring safe supervision of patrons and fellow lifeguards within swimming and pool facilities.
• Maintaining health and safety for all pool users, overseeing building operations responsibly.
• Exercising meticulous attention to detail to safeguard customer wellbeing during facility use.
• Delivering exceptional customer service with friendliness and professionalism, exceeding expectations.
• Upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facilities.

Candidate Profile

A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is mandatory for applicants.
