Role Overview

We seek a seasoned Lead Data Insights Analyst specialized in Tableau within our Business Intelligence team. This role is key to converting intricate banking data into actionable insights through impactful Tableau dashboards tailored for senior leadership. The person will lead dashboard design, development, maintenance, ensuring precision, consistency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creation and upkeep of sophisticated Tableau dashboards for strategic decision making.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in dashboards through strong data modelling and ETL processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data visualization and reporting.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, influencing decisions by communicating complex data insights clearly.
• Manage and resolve performance issues in Tableau reports and data queries.

Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Tableau dashboard design, development, and deployment, including extensive experience with Tableau Server.
• Expert-level SQL skills for handling large relational databases, including Oracle and SQL Server.
• Strong data modelling expertise (star, snowflake schemas) and database management capabilities.
• Well-versed in ETL tools and techniques for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience connecting Tableau with diverse data sources such as databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
• Good understanding of UX/UI principles for dashboard design to convey data intuitively.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R is advantageous.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git to manage Tableau workbooks and datasets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build partnerships, communicate tailored messages to varied audiences, and handle project management tools and methodologies.
• Demonstrated high initiative, accountability, and strong documentation skills.
