About the Role
Join a leading team in the equipment hire sector as a Labourer within the Plant & Tool Division. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is eager to contribute to a growing company. You will be instrumental in maintaining depot efficiency and safety, handling equipment preparation, and supporting the team to provide excellent service across construction, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workshop and yard environment.
- Clean and store plant equipment in an orderly manner.
- Refuel machinery and keep accurate fuel log records.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure equipment is ready for hire before dispatch.
- Assist with various general workshop duties as required.
- Perform driving duties if licensed, including aiding drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles.
- Operate forklifts when necessary to support daily operations.
Candidate Profile
- Experience as a Labourer, preferably in a hire depot or yard setting.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues.
- Capability to work independently and take initiative in a busy environment.
- High attention to detail and dedication to maintaining safety standards.
- Possession of a CSCS card, forklift license, and driving license is beneficial.
