Our client, based in Hamburg, is undergoing major changes in internal reporting and data management. We are assisting in rebuilding their analytics and enterprise performance management stack, necessitating a Junior Scrum Master to support both our consultants and the client’s team. This is a fully remote position focused on organizing workflows and ensuring documentation aligns with the technical developments.

Role Overview

The Junior Scrum Master will coordinate a group of senior consultants tackling complex system repairs. While deep technical expertise in Oracle or SAP systems is not required, the ideal candidate thrives in organizing technical projects, managing task flows, enforcing timelines, and keeping stakeholders updated.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical in our fully remote environment. The Junior Scrum Master maintains a single source of truth, ensuring work aligns with initial requirements. This full-time permanent role provides ample mentorship from consultants with extensive experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-up meetings to align consulting teams on current tasks and challenges.
• Manage and maintain the project backlog, ensuring clear task definitions and proper assignment.
• Contribute to project documentation and configuration manuals intended for client use post-handover.
• Remove minor obstacles impeding technical progress to keep the team focused.
• Support sprint planning and guarantee achievable client commitments.
• Gather project progress data to aid senior consultants in accurate stakeholder reporting.
• Keep internal project management systems current with precise data and progress updates.

Candidate Profile

• Entry-level individuals with foundational knowledge of Agile methodologies or Scrum frameworks from certifications, academic projects, or internships.
• Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate timelines and tasks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfort and discipline working remotely with organizational and productivity tools.
• Interest in business consulting and understanding data-driven decision-making in finance.
• Strong listening and documentation skills to accurately capture technical requirements.
• Proactive mindset to identify stalled tasks and prompt progress through effective questioning.
• Familiarity with project management platforms such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps is beneficial but not mandatory.
