We are currently working with a partner in Berlin to modernize their internal reporting systems. The aim is to provide finance teams with a reliable, automated single source of truth each morning. This includes integrating advanced language AI models to enable natural language querying of complex data. This role is fully remote, enabling contributions to critical enterprise projects from anywhere.

Role Overview

The Junior Prompt Engineer will support senior consultants in bridging complex financial data with natural language AI interfaces. Responsibilities include creating, testing, and refining AI interaction instructions to deliver accurate, actionable responses for business users. This full-time, permanent position suits early-career individuals passionate about data and language technology.

Transparency and reliability are central to the role, demanding thorough documentation to develop prompts that consistently deliver accurate results, not just one-off successes. You will learn to craft instructions that reduce errors and keep AI focused on client data.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate prompts for large language models to support financial reporting and analytics.
• Work closely with senior consultants to understand and meet financial reporting needs.
• Document prompt iterations and outcomes to monitor improvements and detect issues.
• Maintain a repository of effective prompt templates for client use.
• Ensure AI outputs align with verified financial data.
• Prepare and organize sample datasets for prompt testing.
• Engage in team reviews to identify successful prompt strategies.
• Contribute to user guides explaining AI tool operation for finance users.
