About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager specializing in Change Management to support a significant business transformation under the Affinity H&D program. This role is primarily business-oriented and non-technical, focusing on driving change adoption, engaging stakeholders, managing communications, delivering training, and coordinating projects across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage change initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Design and implement strategies for change management, including communication, training, and adoption programs.
  • Perform change impact analyses across different business divisions and operational teams.
  • Detect potential resistance and create mitigation approaches to ensure adoption success.
  • Coordinate project schedules, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate closely with Program and Project Managers to integrate change activities into broader delivery plans.
  • Prepare regular project status reports and governance documents for senior leadership.
  • Maintain alignment between business objectives and project execution.
  • Develop strong relationships with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead workshops, meetings, and presentations at the executive level.
  • Influence and align stakeholders effectively without having direct authority.
  • Support user experience enhancements across client-facing and internal workflows.
  • Work alongside Operations, Product, Technology, and UX teams to translate complex changes into accessible communications and training.
  • Monitor adoption rates, engagement, readiness levels, and business results.
  • Gather stakeholder input to recommend process improvements.
  • Assist with transition planning and ensure sustainable change post-implementation.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 2 to 3 years in Project Management and/or Change Management roles.
  • Experience in supporting business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong abilities in stakeholder engagement across various business and leadership groups.
  • Proficiency in change management planning and execution.
  • Competency in tracking risks, dependencies, milestones, and coordinating projects.
  • Experience preparing communication strategies, delivering training, and supporting change adoption.
  • Business process improvement expertise.
  • Facilitation of workshops and meetings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in consulting or advisory roles.
  • Familiarity with collaboration between business and technology teams.
  • Knowledge of the Insurance or Financial Services sector.
  • Hands-on experience with user adoption and organizational change management.

  • Strong communications and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Availability for hybrid work with at least three onsite days per week in Toronto.

Additional Information

Position is contract-based, onsite in downtown Toronto with work hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role offers substantial exposure to enterprise-level transformation projects and interaction with organizational leaders.
