Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Internal Audit Manager for our UAE office. This role involves ensuring a robust internal control framework through the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify the organization's business objectives and corresponding risks while evaluating key controls.
• Support the design and execution of operational audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, verify adherence to company policies, and identify potential process improvements.
• Formulate initial findings and propose actionable recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
• Contribute to testing the efficiency of internal controls and collaborate with management to correct identified deficiencies.
• Ensure adherence to Arla's Minimum Controls catalog requirements.
• Conduct visits to remote depots and functional divisions under UOQ to periodically assess internal controls, report audit findings, and present improvement plans to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; experience in FMCG preferred.
• Minimum of three years experience in private/public accounting, auditing, or consulting roles.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening, writing, and verbal expression.
• Capable team player with the independence to operate autonomously when required.
• Robust analytical and critical thinking skills.
