Role Overview

As a Junior Developer in our Marketing Team based in Maynooth, you will participate in crafting a state-of-the-art application utilizing modern technologies such as React, GraphQL, and Node.js. Your work will enhance user experience, maintain solid backend infrastructure, and enable efficient system integrations that advance innovative marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive front-end interfaces leveraging React and Tailwind CSS.
• Create and support backend services and APIs using Node.js, GraphQL, and Azure Functions.
• Manage integration with a headless content management system, specifically Sanity CMS, to deliver dynamic content.
• Design and refine automated workflows with Azure Logic Apps and maintain CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.
• Engage in collaborative development using GitHub, Jira, MS Teams, and MS Bookings.
• Oversee version control systems and ensure continuous deployment processes are smooth through Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Monitor application health and troubleshoot using tools like Sentry and other observability platforms.
• Incorporate user feedback mechanisms (e.g., Loop) to enhance application functionality and usability continually.
• Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best coding practices.
• Implement and uphold secure user authentication and authorization protocols, including Azure AD B2C.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in full-stack development emphasizing React, Node.js, and GraphQL technologies.
• Strong skills in creating contemporary, responsive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS.
• Practical knowledge of Azure cloud services such as Functions, Logic Apps, and Application Gateway.
• Experience working with headless CMS solutions like Sanity CMS.
• Proficiency in GitHub for version management and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or comparable tools.
• Solid understanding of API design and integration, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Comfort operating within agile workflows and collaboration platforms like Jira and MS Teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous debugging skills.
• Awareness of monitoring and observability technologies such as Sentry.
