Junior Designer

About the Role

Make Digital Inc. seeks a Junior Designer to join its remote team, contributing to brand identity, marketing materials, web and digital assets, and broader creative collaboration. This position suits a candidate with solid design fundamentals, strong aesthetic sensibility, and a desire to grow under experienced mentorship while working remotely on impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create designs for branding initiatives, marketing campaigns, websites, and various digital content.
• Collaborate closely with senior designers and strategists across Canadian locations.
• Use Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to develop logos, layouts, typographic systems, and other visual assets.
• Accept and incorporate constructive feedback while contributing original creative ideas.
• Engage actively in learning, posing thoughtful questions, and maintaining a positive team dynamic.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a design portfolio demonstrating strong foundational skills, refined taste, and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Figma as well as Adobe Creative Cloud suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Deep interest in branding, typography, and storytelling through visuals.
• Ability to organize and manage time efficiently while working independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication abilities, openness to collaboration, and receptive to feedback.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, detail-oriented studio environment.
• Bonus qualifications include experience with Webflow, UI design, or motion graphics.
