About the Role
We are looking for a Graduate Finance Data Analyst to join our Central London team in a hybrid working arrangement on a 6-month contract basis, offering a daily rate of £340 via an umbrella company. This role suits recent graduates eager to develop a career in commercial finance by gaining practical experience with financial data and business insight generation.
Job Responsibilities
- Examine extensive financial datasets, focusing on billing and invoicing, to detect patterns, trends, and irregularities.
- Analyze data anomalies to enhance the precision of financial reports.
- Develop and update comprehensive reports and analytical tools using Excel.
- Collaborate with finance teams to provide insightful data that supports commercial decision-making.
- Assist in preparing management reports and performance evaluations.
- Identify opportunities to refine data quality and process efficiency.
- Engage with various business stakeholders to produce accurate and relevant analyses.
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduate holding a degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, capable of detailed data analysis and report creation.
