About the Role

We are looking for a Graduate Finance Data Analyst to join our Central London team in a hybrid working arrangement on a 6-month contract basis, offering a daily rate of £340 via an umbrella company. This role suits recent graduates eager to develop a career in commercial finance by gaining practical experience with financial data and business insight generation.

Job Responsibilities

• Examine extensive financial datasets, focusing on billing and invoicing, to detect patterns, trends, and irregularities.
• Analyze data anomalies to enhance the precision of financial reports.
• Develop and update comprehensive reports and analytical tools using Excel.
• Collaborate with finance teams to provide insightful data that supports commercial decision-making.
• Assist in preparing management reports and performance evaluations.
• Identify opportunities to refine data quality and process efficiency.
• Engage with various business stakeholders to produce accurate and relevant analyses.

Candidate Profile

• Recent graduate holding a degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, capable of detailed data analysis and report creation.
• Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in leveraging data to solve commercial challenges and support decision-making.
• Effective communication skills suited for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and adaptable in a dynamic business setting.
