Position Overview
A rapidly expanding FinTech consultancy based in Hanover is searching for a seasoned Java Software Engineer to join their dynamic development team. This role involves creating innovative financial software solutions focused on data analysis, trading tools, and market intelligence used in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, and data experts to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable financial technology applications with high performance.
Technical Environment
Develop using Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Hibernate, Kafka, Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, React, RESTful APIs. Work with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, Azure cloud infrastructure, Docker containers, Git version control, and implement CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in German at C1 level or higher
- Practical experience with Java and Spring Boot or Python programming
