Job Summary

This position involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks within assigned buildings or multiple client locations. Duties require flexibility as assignments vary according to client requirements.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Part-time or full-time employment
• Evening shifts
• Hourly pay of $15
• Weekly payment schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all types of flooring through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Adhere strictly to procedures when using chemical cleaners and powered equipment to avoid floor or property damage
• Ensure restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entryways are cleaned and monitored regularly
• Empty trash receptacles appropriately, utilizing compactors when required
• Clean windows, glass walls, and mirrors using suitable cleaning agents and tools
• Conduct spot cleaning on carpets and assist with deep cleaning methods such as carpet extraction and shampooing
• Restock paper products and sanitary items as needed
• Follow an established housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery like floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Perform other related duties as directed to meet the scope of work or customer needs

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial work experience
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience
• Knowledge of custodial standards and commercial cleaning techniques
• Familiarity with floor care processes, including buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous
