Job Details

• Position available as part-time or full-time
• Compensation at $14 per hour
• Payments distributed weekly

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and upkeep of all floor types by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Use chemical cleaners and powered equipment according to safety protocols to avoid damage to surfaces and items
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, meeting areas, hallways, and entrances
• Empty waste containers properly; utilize compactors for certain trash types
• Clean windows, glass dividers, and mirrors with suitable cleaning solutions and tools
• Spot clean carpets and assist with deep cleaning such as shampooing and extraction
• Restock paper goods and sanitary items as needed
• Adhere to the established housekeeping schedules
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machinery, including floor scrubbers and buffer machines
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned to meet client requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months’ experience in janitorial work
• Training will be provided during employment
• Strong attention to detail
• Capability to accurately follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and custodial standards
• Familiarity with floor maintenance techniques, such as buffing and waxing
• Background in industrial cleaning or facility upkeep
