International Store Leasing Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned International Store Leasing Manager to spearhead leasing and expansion initiatives across global markets, emphasizing the GCC and Arab regions. This position entails crafting and implementing worldwide store growth strategies, conducting comprehensive market and site evaluations, negotiating lease arrangements, supervising branch performance, and maintaining the effectiveness of the store portfolio internationally.

Key Duties

• Formulate and execute international store expansion strategies aligned with corporate growth targets.
• Undertake on-site assessments in existing and prospective countries to evaluate market dynamics, location viability, competitors, and commercial prospects.
• Create in-depth analyses for current and planned branches covering site selection, operational expenses, fiscal results, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead rollout of expansion projects and coordinate new store launches with relevant departments.
• Track and assess underperforming branches, diagnose issues, and suggest remedial measures such as restructuring, relocating, or closing stores.
• Manage rental obligations and ensure adherence to lease contracts.
• Engage in lease negotiations with property owners to decrease rental expenses, enhance lease clauses, and secure financial gains for the company.
• Compile regular reports on international operations, including performance metrics, obstacles, prospects, and strategic recommendations.
• Liaise with Finance, Operations, Legal, Projects, and other teams to guarantee seamless contractual, financial, and operational processes.
• Ensure all leasing activities comply with local laws and market standards in various countries.
• Provide senior leadership with market intelligence and strategic advice on international retail growth.
• Execute additional related responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Real Estate, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of proven experience in leasing, retail expansion, branch oversight, or regional market development.
• Demonstrated capability in supervising multiple branches or retail outlets across diverse markets.
• Experience within GCC or Arab market contexts is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional skills in negotiation, market and financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
• Comprehensive knowledge of retail site selection, leasing agreements, branch profitability metrics, and strategic expansion planning.
• Willingness and ability to undertake international travel as required by the role.
