Key Responsibilities and Expectations
The selected Interior Designer will be responsible for contributing creatively and practically across all phases of residential projects. This includes concept development, delivering client presentations, producing detailed documentation, specifying FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and participating in site activities. Collaboration with clients, consultants, and suppliers is fundamental, as is thriving in a studio culture that prizes shared ideas and superior quality above all.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Formal education in Interior or Spatial Design.
- At least four years of professional experience after qualification.
- Outstanding design sensibility and presentation capabilities.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering luxury residential projects.
- Strong skills in documentation, specification, and organization.
- Competency in software tools including Revit (preferred), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- New Zealand residency and possession of a full driver's license are mandatory.
