Role Overview
The Instructional Designer will undertake a full-time remote position focusing on creating compelling and supportive learning experiences aligned with leadership development and coaching initiatives. This includes performing needs assessments with internal stakeholders, converting learning goals into instructional strategies, and developing comprehensive curricula and educational content such as facilitator guides, participant manuals, e-learning modules, and multimedia assets.
The role encompasses content administration within learning management systems, close collaboration with coaches and trainers to enhance program designs, and iterative updates of instructional materials based on learner feedback and performance metrics. Additionally, the Instructional Designer will support both virtual and on-site training by ensuring materials are engaging, learner-friendly, accessible, and compliant with the organization's standards and pedagogical approaches.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in conducting needs analyses and managing learning requirements to align with corporate objectives.
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and curriculum creation to develop structured and engaging learning programs.
- Experience supporting training facilitation, ensuring learner engagement, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning interventions.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities, capable of simplifying complex subjects into understandable content.
- Competence with digital content authoring tools, virtual learning platforms, and fundamental multimedia production, including slide design and basic video/audio editing.
- Effective project management and organizational capabilities with aptitude for remote independent work and meeting deadlines.
- Academic background in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous involvement with leadership development, coaching, or organizational learning in professional or academic contexts is a plus.
