About the Role
Join Bizerba at our Balingen location as an Industrial Engineer specializing in production and process technology. You will serve as the key interface between the development and production teams, ensuring that new products can be manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and ready for mass production.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve production processes focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction while further developing them.
- Plan and implement new manufacturing processes and support the transition to serial production.
- Assist in product development processes and contribute to new product innovations.
- Organize, plan, and conduct workplace design and optimization workshops across all manufacturing areas.
- Ensure process stability and drive continuous improvement (CIP).
- Introduce new technologies, automation solutions, and manufacturing concepts including operational equipment.
- Collaborate closely with development, production, and quality assurance teams.
- Conduct training sessions and briefings related to process and production engineering.

Candidate Profile
- Educational background: Degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or equivalent; alternatively, a technician with relevant experience in production and development environments.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with lean methodologies, continuous improvement processes (KVP), or Six Sigma is an advantage; proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience: Professional experience in production or process engineering or development is beneficial; experience with CAD, ERP systems, and ideally MES systems is preferred.
- Personal qualities: Strong analytical thinking, structured and solution-focused work style, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well within a team.
- Languages: Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
