India Country Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic India Country Manager specializing in Edge Computing to lead our operations in India. This leadership role requires a combination of strong business insight, operational expertise, and thorough knowledge of India's industrial markets. The person will oversee all aspects of the subsidiary’s functioning including profit and loss management, business expansion, and team leadership to drive revenue and broaden the market footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and achieving sustainable revenue growth.
• Conduct detailed market analyses to uncover new opportunities, keep abreast of industry shifts, and understand customer requirements within Indian local market sectors.
• Support and steer sales teams in acquiring leads, securing important accounts, and nurturing lasting client relationships.
• Forge and cultivate strategic partnerships with distributors, systems integrators, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
• Enhance go-to-market strategies by refining current channels and exploring novel partnership prospects.
• Assume full responsibility for financial performance of the Indian subsidiary including revenue targets, margin management, cost control, and profitability.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and periodic financial analysis together with the regional finance team.
• Ensure the subsidiary operates efficiently and adheres to corporate policies and local legal requirements.
• Lead and mentor diverse teams across sales, marketing, technical support, and administrative functions to foster development and high performance.
• Collaborate with headquarters to effectively implement global and regional programs within India.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. A technical background in Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is highly advantageous.
• At least 10 years of career progression within industrial or IPC-related sectors, including a minimum of 5 years occupying senior leadership roles with ownership of profit and loss responsibilities.
• Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated success in managing subsidiary operations encompassing finance, personnel, and legal compliance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of India's B2B industrial market and client ecosystem.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and ability to work across cultures.
