About the Role
Join Google as an Incident Response Consultant within the Mandiant team, a leader in cybersecurity and dynamic cyber defense. In this position based in Singapore, you will deliver expert incident response, assessment, managed detection, transformation, and training services. Your work will focus on swiftly detecting and addressing cyber threats, minimizing business risks before, during, and after incidents by conducting comprehensive investigations, containment, remediation, and crisis management at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Take part in a rotating on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to investigate and manage incidents.
- Identify and document attacker tools, tactics, and procedures (TTP), as well as indicators of compromise (IOC) to enhance present and future investigations.
- Conduct forensic examinations involving hosts, networks, logs, and malware triage supporting incident investigations.
- Support multiple client-facing investigation workstreams by analyzing cloud, endpoint, and network evidence sources.
- Prepare thorough reports and presentations tailored for both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in incident response investigations, analysis, or containment efforts.
- Proficiency in at least three of the following: network or log forensic analysis, malware triage analysis, disk or memory forensics.
- Background in cybersecurity domains such as network security, wireless security, web application assessments, social engineering, scripting, cloud security, reverse engineering, or incident response.
Preferred Experience
- Expertise in malware triage and disk or memory forensics across diverse operating systems.
- Knowledge of enterprise security architecture and controls.
- Experience handling cloud-related incidents or forensic investigations.
- Strong time management and project organizational capabilities.
