About the Role
This position is for a Human Resources Generalist and Recruiter supporting a remote workforce, preferably located in Washington State. The role is a 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire, offering hourly wages between $30 and $32. The successful candidate will balance responsibilities across HR operations and talent acquisition while managing employee lifecycle tasks and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits enrollment and provide ongoing employee support.
- Oversee payroll coordination, ensuring accurate employee data management.
- Manage workforce planning, new hire onboarding, and exit procedures.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws at federal, state, and local levels.
- Handle employee relations, performance management, and enforce HR policies.
- Maintain HR information systems and employee records.
- Collaborate with leadership for workforce and organizational planning initiatives.
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment for roles in legal, immigration, paralegal, attorney, case management, and corporate support domains.
- Partner with hiring managers to establish requirements and recruiting strategies.
- Source, evaluate, interview candidates, and manage applicant tracking and recruiting metrics.
- Develop talent pipelines to meet future hiring needs and enhance employer branding.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least three years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or a combined role.
- Experience in payroll management, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle recruitment.
- Sound knowledge of applicable employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and applicant tracking technology.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management capabilities.
- Preferred experience recruiting within legal, immigration, professional services, or consulting sectors.
Compensation and Benefits
