Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to oversee all HR functions and support daily office operations in a dynamic industrial service setting. This position involves managing employee records, facilitating onboarding and offboarding, coordinating new hire orientation and training, administering benefits, and promoting adherence to HR policies and regulatory compliance. The HR Coordinator will collaborate with leadership, managers, supervisors, and field staff to support a diverse workforce across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage all daily HR functions and ensure smooth office operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation and training logistics.
- Administer employee benefits, assist with enrollments and address employee inquiries.
- Facilitate employee relations activities, support conflict resolution, and promote a positive workplace environment.
- Prepare HR documentation and assist with recruitment and interview scheduling.
- Maintain HR systems and generate relevant reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies and regulations.
- Act as a proactive partner to leadership and operations in managing workforce needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HR coordination, HR generalist, or assistant HR management roles.
- Strong knowledge and skills in HR management, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with managing safety-sensitive, service-oriented industries such as mechanical, industrial, construction, manufacturing, transportation, or field services.
- Understanding of field workforce management including technicians, drivers, and crews with respect to workplace safety and compliance.
- Experience using HRIS or other HR management software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- High level of discretion handling confidential information and customer-focused approach.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields preferred; equivalent experience considered.
