Role Overview
The HR Coordinator is tasked with supporting compliance within human resources, managing leave of absence processes, handling provider contract queries, ensuring adherence to remote work policies, and administering workers' compensation protocols. This role collaborates with various internal departments to maintain compliance with both internal policies and external regulations, driving enhancements in processes and offering expertise on governance and compliance strategies. The candidate should demonstrate analytical precision, confidentiality, and efficiency within a dynamic healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee compliance related to remote work initiatives.
- Assist in coordinating strategic HR compliance programs throughout the organization.
- Ensure all internal policies and external regulatory standards are met.
- Identify areas where compliance is lacking and formulate corrective action plans.
- Monitor compliance activities and advise on process improvements.
- Collaborate across departments to strengthen compliance efforts.
- Manage leave of absence procedures for healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws.
- Maintain comprehensive leave records and employee documentation.
- Facilitate communications about leave policies between employees and leadership.
- Provide expert guidance regarding leave-related policies and compliance with employment laws.
- Handle provider contract inquiries and related documentation efficiently.
- Act as a strategic HR compliance partner offering governance consultation.
- Support internal stakeholders with policy interpretation and HR compliance guidance.
- Develop positive working relationships across multiple departments.
- Deliver professional and responsive HR support.
- Assist with workers' compensation administrative tasks and documentation.
- Maintain confidential employee and HR records accurately.
- Support general HR operations and compliance reporting duties.
- Coordinate administrative activities related to compliance.
- Identify and implement improvements for HR workflows and compliance processes.
- Engage in data-driven initiatives to elevate HR compliance standards.
- Analyze and enhance operational efficiency within HR functions.
- Promote best practices in compliance and governance to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent oral and written communication capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Experience managing confidential employee information.
- Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions.

Preferred Experience
- One to two years in Human Resources roles.
- Familiarity with accrediting bodies, CMS guidelines, and HR regulations.
- Experience managing leave of absence requests and employment law compliance.
