Housekeeping Staff

About the Role

Hotel New Ratnakar is seeking a diligent Housekeeping Staff member with a minimum of 2 years experience in hotel housekeeping to join their team located in Nani Daman, Daman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently managing daily room cleaning and housekeeping duties to ensure guest rooms and common areas are impeccably maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms following hotel standards.
• Replace bed linens, pillowcases, towels, and other fabric items as required.
• Ensure bathrooms, floors, furniture, and all room areas are spotless.
• Prepare rooms adequately in advance of guest check-in.
• Respond professionally to guest housekeeping requests.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, corridors, and designated common hotel areas.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them promptly.
• Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, notifying management when stock is low.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly and safely.
• Coordinate with reception and management on room availability and status.
• Demonstrate good personal hygiene, grooming, and maintain professional conduct.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping roles.
• Competent understanding of standard hotel room cleaning and setup procedures.
• Capability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned rooms.
• Traits such as hardworking, punctuality, discipline, and honesty are essential.
• Basic customer service skills and professional behaviour towards guests.
• Experience in a hotel environment is highly desirable.

Salary

The salary range offered is ₹13,000 to ₹14,000 per month, commensurate with experience and skill level.
