Position Overview
The role of Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant is centered on maintaining the facility's cleanliness, safety, and comfort according to Trilogy standards as well as federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and staff spaces are clean, safe, and comfortable for residents, their families, and employees.
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning during move-ins and move-outs, and follow isolation cleaning protocols aligned with infection control standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and properly store equipment, supplies, and tools throughout the shift, including breaks, mealtimes, and at day’s end.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, delivering, storing, labeling resident laundry and linens, and properly operating and maintaining laundry equipment.
Qualifications
- Preferred education is a high school diploma or GED/HSE equivalent.
Location
This position is based at The Villages at Oak Ridge in Washington, Indiana, located at 1694 Troy Road.
