Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Assist guests throughout their stay ensuring guest rooms and public areas uphold the hotel's high cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Coordinators to promptly address guest requests, enhancing their experience.
• Take proactive steps to personalize guest services and add unique touches to their stay.
• Maintain guest privacy and security while delivering exceptional service quality.
• Oversee the closing of the service areas daily, ensuring all equipment is stored correctly and the area is hazard-free.
• Prepare and stock guest amenities, cleaning supplies, minibars, and linens on the service trolley prior to duties.
• Conduct detailed inspections of assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
• Report any maintenance concerns or damaged items immediately to the relevant departments.
• Follow strict health and safety protocols, especially regarding cleaning chemicals and equipment use.
• Support evening turndown service to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.
• Keep accurate records of cleaned rooms, replenished items, and fulfilled guest requests.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to facilitate seamless guest experiences during peak times or special events.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong service orientation with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Prior experience in a housekeeping role within a 5-star hotel setting is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal skills alongside fluent English communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a dedication to maintaining superior cleanliness standards.
• Basic proficiency with computers for task logging and interdepartmental communication.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safe handling and storage practices for cleaning products.
• Discreet, respectful of guest privacy, and capable of working independently or within a team.
