Job Overview and Responsibilities

This role involves the transportation of materials to an off-site laboratory and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment throughout the hospital. Key duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning sinks, toilets, showers, mirrors, countertops, faucets, handles, and shower seats; promptly preparing patient rooms for new admissions following their dismissal, including washing beds and mattresses and occasionally remaking beds.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English effectively
• At least six months of experience in housekeeping
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record suitable for transport duties

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One year or more recent experience in healthcare housekeeping
