Role Overview

The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing comprehensive housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the grounds, furnishings, equipment, and the facility overall, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to established housekeeping protocols and quality standards for cleaning tasks.
• Manage and follow cleaning schedules for designated areas.
• Coordinate routine and terminal isolation cleaning procedures in collaboration with Nursing Services.
• Stay informed and compliant with safety regulations, policies, and procedures, implementing all safety precautions.
• Immediately report any hazardous conditions or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors.
• Respect the personal and property rights of residents during all housekeeping activities.
• Timely report any complaints or grievances to supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of safe and effective housekeeping practices applicable within the State of Indiana.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments as a cooperative team member.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
