Overview

Iceland Foods is seeking motivated Home Delivery Drivers to join our dedicated team in Ashford, England. This position involves delivering groceries while ensuring excellent customer interactions. Key Responsibilities

• Safely load the delivery van, utilizing proper manual handling techniques to avoid injury.
• Drive responsibly, strictly adhering to all road safety and driving regulations.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before each shift.
• Ensure products, especially food items, are delivered in optimal condition.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service during all interactions.
• Assist with in-store duties as required to support team operations.
• Efficiently manage time and work autonomously to meet delivery schedules.
• Be flexible to work shifts ranging from early morning (6am) to late night (11pm).

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a full driving license for a minimum of 3 years with no more than six penalty points.
• Exhibit a positive attitude, friendliness, and enthusiasm for creating a great customer experience.
• Demonstrate punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines reliably.
• Have a strong understanding of road safety practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of £13.71.
• Minimum of 28 days paid holiday annually, inclusive of Bank Holidays, with increments based on service length.
