About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Home Delivery Drivers to join our team at a renowned grocery retailer. This position offers an engaging, active role that fosters independence and allows you to connect directly with customers. The role involves delivering groceries safely and efficiently, serving as the friendly face of the company in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow correct van loading procedures, including manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving standards at all times.
• Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Deliver food items ensuring they remain in optimal condition upon arrival.
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
• Assist with in-store duties when necessary.
• Work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
• Maintain flexibility to cover shifts that may start as early as 6 am and end as late as 11 pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a valid full driving license for a minimum of three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Possess a positive attitude, friendly approach, and a passion for excellent customer service.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to road safety and responsible driving.

Compensation and Benefits

• Earn £13.71 per hour.
