About Minor Hotels and Job Location
This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara in Doha, Qatar. Minor Hotels is a global hotel owner, operator, and investor managing more than 530 properties worldwide, spanning Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe, and South America. Their brands include Anantara, Avani, Elewana, Oaks, NH Hotels, NH Collection, nhow, and TIVOLI, catering to diverse traveler needs.
Role Overview
The Guest Relations Officer serves as a vital face of the hotel, entrusted with delivering outstanding and memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities include anticipating guest requirements, addressing queries courteously and effectively, and ensuring guest satisfaction issues are resolved promptly. Proactiveness and creativity in providing guest-centered alternatives are expected to maximize guest enjoyment throughout their stay.
Qualifications
- Possess a college degree in hotel management or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in Front Office or Guest Services roles is required.
- Strong communication abilities are essential.
- Familiarity with Front Office Systems is necessary.
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is mandatory.
