Role Overview
At Ashby, the go-to-market (GTM) ecosystem is powered by a suite of interlinked systems crucial for operational accuracy and efficiency. The GTM Systems Analyst is responsible for managing the daily upkeep and configurations of the technical framework that supports Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. This includes administering CRM settings, overseeing integrations, and ensuring data integrity across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of GTM platforms, handling system configurations, user permissions, custom objects, and automation workflows to keep systems aligned with current team practices.
- Support and maintain data integration flows among tools such as intent data providers, conversation intelligence, and sales engagement software to ensure consistent and reliable data movement.
- Implement and uphold data governance protocols, including quality assurance, deduplication, and standardized field taxonomy, collaborating with GTM Engineers and System Architects to build reliable data infrastructures.
- Serve as a technical liaison to GTM teams by troubleshooting issues, capturing and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in the assessment and adoption of new GTM and AI tools, supporting contract renewals and facilitating the deployment of emerging technology with a practical focus on usage and maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong expertise in CRM administration with preferred certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or HubSpot Administrator.
- Experience integrating marketing automation, CRM, and revenue intelligence solutions like 6sense, Gong, Outreach, and Gainsight.
- Skilled at converting broad business objectives into documented, scalable technical configurations.
- Analytical mindset capable of identifying and diagnosing data inconsistencies, forming hypotheses, and communicating findings effectively.
- Proactive problem solver who initiates troubleshooting without waiting for complete issue descriptions.
- Excellent written communication skills essential for a remote-first work environment and comprehensive documentation.
- Between 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, or Sales Operations roles, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with SQL and querying data warehouses such as Snowflake and BigQuery for on-demand analysis.
- Experience with AI-powered automation tools or prompt-based solutions within a GTM framework.
- Understanding of GTM strategies involving multiple products or market segments.
Considerations
- This role requires hands-on CRM administration experience, not merely system usage.
- Candidates who prefer high-level strategic planning over practical system management may find this role less suitable.
- Ideal candidates are comfortable operating in ambiguous situations requiring diagnosis and rapid prioritization.
- The role demands broad collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success rather than focusing on a single GTM function.
Application Process
The selection stages include an initial recruiter screening, followed by an interview with the hiring manager, a challenge interview, and a final round involving key stakeholders.
