Role overview
The Group Financial Analyst will join the Group Finance team in a broad, hands-on position covering operational finance and financial reporting. The role focuses on monthly and quarterly reporting to the parent company in Paris under IFRS, reviewing regional performance and KPI trends for management reporting, preparing financial presentations for budget, reforecast and strategic planning, and working closely with finance controllers across global businesses. The position also includes a range of technical and ad hoc finance projects.
Financial reporting
- Assess monthly flash revenue reporting and verify performance trends.
- Draft monthly commentary on revenue and operating profit.
- Compile monthly management accounts with KPI analysis.
- Analyse and explain budget and forecast outcomes.
- Prepare presentation materials covering financial performance.
- Review quarterly cash flow reports and forecast updates.
- Check submissions in the LVMH reporting platform.
- Handle additional reporting needs such as real estate and capex.
- Respond to LVMH follow-up questions on submitted reports.
- Investigate significant balance sheet movements.
Technical accounting
- Support research and documentation on IFRS technical matters, updating records as needed and coordinating with auditors on technical queries.
- Assist with accounting treatment for major transactions, including acquisitions and disposals.
Other duties
- Prepare UK statutory accounts and work with auditors.
- Track progress on statutory account completion across global entities.
- Support presentations and other ad hoc finance tasks as required.
- Use utilities and resources responsibly to avoid waste.
- Share relevant information with the department, line manager and other teams where appropriate.
- Follow safe working practices, health and safety policy, and report accidents or defects immediately.
- Participate in learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules when required.
