Graphic Designer with Focus on Packaging Design

Role Overview

You possess a keen eye for packaging that stands out on shelves and effectively conveys the brand's essence. As a Graphic Designer specializing in packaging, you will take full responsibility for creating and refining packaging designs, ensuring our products present a visually consistent, high-quality, and brand-aligned appearance from initial concepts through to production-ready artwork. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with product management, our lead agency, and related departments such as social media and performance marketing to maintain a cohesive brand presence beyond just packaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and collaborate extensively with the lead agency to ensure all design assets are executed with consistency and brand alignment.
• Design and enhance packaging and print materials, continuously advancing the visual appeal and functionality.
• Safeguard the consistency of the visual brand identity across all customer touchpoints.
• Develop and maintain the khadi brand guidelines, templates, and design assets to support uniformity and quality.
• Work hand-in-hand with branding, product management, and sales teams, and oversee external service providers including printing houses, photographers, and freelancers within your scope of responsibility.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completed degree or formal training in graphic, communication, or media design fields.
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience, preferably in brand design, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating insightful branding and digital design capabilities.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Desirable experience with Canva, Figma, as well as motion design tools like After Effects or Premiere Pro.
• Bonus knowledge of Klaviyo and Shopify platforms.
• Excellent sense for typography, photographic style, color harmony, and composition.
• Organized, independent, and dependable work habits.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
